True Brotherly Love

Tallis seems quite pleased to have a baby in the house, now that he is getting over the terrible cold he has had. When the cold was on full force, he was clingy and weepy and needy way beyond my ability to care for him - very sad and frustrating for both of us. This was not a fun few days! He has had to spend a lot of time at others' houses last week to allow me recovery time and him some distraction from his symptoms. Now he's feeling better and overall is quite happy and interested in Baby Rhys. I caught a couple of sweet things on camera in the last few days.

Often when I put Rhys in his little chair for a few minutes, Tallis makes sure he has a toy to play with. A couple of days ago Tallis shared his blocks:

The day before that, as his sign of true brotherly love and solidarity, Tallis shared (drum-roll please ...) WINNIE AND THE YELLOW BLANKET! These are two items that DO NOT get shared, but he lent them to Rhys quite happily and sweetly. Ah, a sign of great things to come?

Today Rhys got gentle hugs and kisses from big brother. It was a good day for all of us together.
